Sima Hair and Beauty Salon

I have been going to Sima for years now, I had my colour done today and it was really fantastic. Sima took great care to do my hair the way I like it. She gave me a treatment. Lovely blow dry. The price was reasonable.
Also had face threading done by one of her lovely assistants .
I have had keratin straightening many times and recommended a number of my friends who were also really pleased.
I came out feeling like a brand new woman .

So so bad. I got gel here and it only lasted on my feet. My hands chipped and became so broken and damaged. I don’t know what material they use but it’s not good. The ingredients have damaged my nails so bad that it burns to get new gel on top. This has never happened before

Honestly the beast salon I have ever been to .They turned my hair from dark burgundy to blonde for £120 . Aside from being lovley and conversational they put genuine effort into helping me achieve blonde ,color removing , bleaching , toning and styling my hair instead of doing the bare minimum and overcharging like other salons . It was very clean and they made me a hot chocolate free of charge . They managed to get my hair to a medium blonde from almost black . Overall very kind and skilled hairdressers I would 100% recommend especially to those who have been turned down and forced to have hair they don’t like because of lazy hairdressers! My hair is still very healthy I will definitely be comming here again

I had seen mixed reviews but my own hairdresser recommended Sima for a keratin treatment. I am extremely satisfied with the treatment. Sima was meticulous and my treatment was carried out with care. I found Sima to be very pleasant and accommodating . Her assistant was delightful and chatty too. Whilst I was in there two people who entered wanting immediate appointments both were quite demanding and a little rude whichj is a shame as I am sure it is not usual to expect appointments in demand and if you do get a walk in appointment that is lucky. This is a small local business run solely by Sima who is doing a great job. Thank you Sima from one very happy customer who will definitely be returning regularly.

WORST SERVICE EVER, PLEASE AVOID!!! was about to buy a groupon for this salon but called first to check availability -they said I should pay them directly for the same price instead. I asked if I could book for 4.30 as i was rushed that day but they said I can't arrive later than 4 so they could have enough time for my hair. I arrived at 3.55 and waited until 4.20 -so why was it imperative for me to come at 4?? at4.20 I got up and asked home much longer the wait will be, she said another 5mins. She then glanced at my hair and asked me what highlights I wanted. she asked me for pictures of what I want so I showed them. She said this is not highlights and i explained that on the phone I told them I have never had highlights before so if she could explain what I could have which is part of the deal then I will go with whatever she recommends -i'm not fussed! She then said she can do it for £100 (was supposed to be paying £29) so I said no thats too much, I will just do the blow dry & cut without the highlights. At THIS point she then changed her mind and said "no you have afro hair, we can't do it". I do not have afro hair -i am indian- my hair is thick and curly which I explained over the phone (which they said £15 surcharge and i agreed) and I also explained it blowdries straight VERY easily. She then told me to sit in the hairdresser chair, took another glance and said "no its not my job to do this sorry". what??? you're a hairdresser how is this not your job??? i then was annoyed and asked why they didn't tell me in the last 30mins of me sitting here waiting if they knew they couldn't do it. She then LIED and said I arrived at 4.10. She said I should go to an afro hairdresser but I don't think she understands what afro hair is -I never go to afro hairdressers, I go to HOB, turkish hairdresser (SACH in east finchley) many many many other places which are not catered for afro hair at all and they manage to do my hair without complaint?! My hair blow dries straight extremely easily so I was so confused as to how someone in this line of work would not understand that and simply refuse. I then had to wait 45 mins to be picked up which I arranged originally from the salon so I had wasted an hour which she again made a point of saying is not her fault. Just before i was about to leave and after calling another salon to make an appointment she then said if I wait another 10mins I can have my hair done by the make up lady. sorry??? Why would I wait any longer when I have been told repeatedly no one can do my hair and NOW all of a sudden my hair can be done. Her reply was because then she can look more closely at my hair ...But i have sat here for ONE HOUR... at no point within that time she couldn't have looked closely at my hair??? poor service, waste of time, please avoid. Couldn't believe this was the manager I was speaking to..how this salon is running is beyond me. Pictures below is to show my hair type...clearly NOT AFRO.
