Asal more like namak (salt), Came in with a female friend of mine once, the owner said you came at the right time I was about to close even though we got there an hour before the closing time. We were surprised and said ok thanks. We ordered a teapot, 2 rollet and he insisted to order some shirini denmarki so we got two as he claimed they were just freshly made.
Everything seemed nice until we tried the tea and pastries, The tea was very very strong and the rollets were ok but the cream was quite heavy and the denmarki shrini was so incredibly dry and hard to chew. Wasn’t so bothered though as we really came for a bit of tea.
I went inside to get the bill and the guys charged £20, I paid and went out to see my friend and she asked how much I paid and then she said that’s interesting the guy always charges me and my girl friends half price all the time but every time I come with my guy friends its double.
There are so many better pastry shops around edgware rd, the quality of the food here is mediocre and below Persian standard.
Shame on you for mugging people and matter of fact not treating all customers equally.

We picked up a selection of fresh pastries and their homemade tea to enjoy at home, and I have to say—both were a perfect 10/10 for taste and aroma! The tea is probably the best I’ve had in ages, and their pistachio cake was absolutely delicious—so fresh and flavorful.
We were warmly greeted by three lovely ladies, and since it was pouring rain, they even treated us to some complimentary pastries and tea. The service was incredibly kind and professional. We’ll definitely be returning!

Horrible Experience at Assal Care
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Assal Care that I feel compelled to share. During my visit, my bag, which was full of personal belongings, was left on a chair. When I returned just a minute later, the bag was gone. The situation only went downhill from there.
Firstly, the prices at Assal Care are exorbitantly high, given the quality of service provided. The establishment is vastly overpriced, and the overall experience does not justify the cost.
What really stood out was the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the staff. When we informed the staff about the missing bag, their response was dismissive and unhelpful. We then asked to speak with the manager, who claimed to be the owner. Her manner and attitude were shockingly unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance or showing any empathy, she treated us with disdain and acted as if our concerns were irrelevant.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any business, especially one that charges such high prices. The lack of concern for customer satisfaction and the apparent disregard for our predicament were both infuriating and disappointing.
I strongly advise against visiting Assal Care. Their unprofessional and rude staff, coupled with overpriced services, make for a terrible experience. Save your time, money, and peace of mind – look elsewhere for your needs.

Excellent cakes. Rather expensive I have to admit.
The danish pastries are made fresh every Friday and Saturday and are delicious.
The creamy cakes are good but I don’t know how frequently they are made. We’ve always found them available every time we’ve been.
Particularly nice are the honey cakes and Napeloini (similar to millefeuille but with more layers and crème patissiere in between the layers).
For the honey cake I highly recommend leaving it out of the fridge for half an hour to forty five minutes before consuming. It’s much nicer.

We really enjoyed our stop at this beautiful little Café.
Shirini’s are here very authentic and the self made saffron black tee makes the taste even better.
The owner is kind and we will come definitely next time!
