Very much a let down of a Persian restaurant. My husband and I were excited for our London trip for this restaurant because we heard people talking about. Starting off, they don’t take reservations. Also if there is a line, they will make you wait out like when it was extremely outside. Their food was terrible that I couldn’t finish it and it started to hurt my stomach. Their service wasn’t the best, they don’t pay attention to dietary restrictions.

Alounak nails it when it comes to flavor! I had the Kebab Koobideh with fresh bread, and it was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the bread was soft and warm, even the veggie dishes like chilaquiles was so tasty. But I took off one star because I thought the rice came with the zereshk, only to find out it was extra. Still, the flavors and cozy vibe make it worth a visit! highly recommend!

This is an authentic middle eastern restaurant with freshly made breads. The food here is tasty and fresh. Everything is made when ordered so that the aroma is good. Overall, a good experience

Came here on a Thursday evening around 5pm to have late lunch with my other two friends. Ordered 2 main dishes: Kebab Koobideh and Alounak Special.
Thankfully we only ordered 2 dishes to be eaten by 3 people, because the portion for a dish was really huge! We finished both dishes and all of us were full after that. They were amazingly delicious, or maybe we were just too hungry. Nevertheless, the price was worth with the taste and portion given.
The staffs were nice and did their job profesionally. They confirmed that it is a halal restaurant so we can eat lighheartedly. The restaurant was nicely decorated with Persian theme. It feels relaxing to chill and just enjoy our meals. Not to forget that the toilets were clean and provided with bidet, which was a plus point for Asians like us. Would definitely repeat coming here in the future.

Good Persian restaurant in Bayswater.
Had dips for starters. Make sure you order the crunchy bread to eat the dips with - it is a delight.
Had mixed grill for the main and the portion was huge. Two massive skewers of well grilled chicken and lamb. Taste was good but a bit dry. Perhaps order a side salad.
After-dinner tea was nice and helped us digest all the food.
Service is good and the vibe is nice.
