The food is very good, service and atmosphere can be a let down. Some of the best grilled meats I've had and great veggie options too. The interior is mostly really nice, you'd not guess from the front!

But the service has been quite poor at times. Once they didn't have our reservation even though we had email confirmation and they weren't apologetic. The most recent time we were served by a younger guy with earphones in who didn't seem to care and didn't smile once.
They also now have two massive TVs with sound on in the restaurant? Which feels tacky and was distracting

I brought an Iranian visitor to Kishmish. She told me that the name of the restaurant means ‘raisin’ in Persian. An endearing name for this little plum of an eatery tucked behind Crystal Palace Parade. Watch out though - there is a very steep staircase leading down to the restaurant. The food was really tasty and we enjoyed the bread made on the premises. We had a range of dips and then shared the kebab platter. The lamb pieces kebab was so delicious. We had our Persian tea out on the open-air terrace on what was an outrageously balmy late September evening. Top marks.

I order a Qafqazi and khoresh-Sabzi. The chicken in Qafqazi was amazing but the meat was elastic and not marinated properly.

As for the kharesh-Sabzi it was too spicy, the spice overwhelms the taste of vegetables and meat altogether.

And their rice was to dry it needs a bit butter on top of it to make it appealing.

Their atmosphere was amazing and very relaxing. The quality with this price was decent any way.

If you are first timer it will be nice experience considering the atmosphere specially their balcony.

If that cost £19.00! Looks like you need £100.00 to have a decent portion.
2 olives, one tiny tomato and micro portion of salad.

I think the box cost more that the actual food.

Very disappointed and I won't accept sorrys!!!!

Been there twice, both times the food was amazing and I just love the location and the vibe here, the food is delicious and the music so calm. The interior is so well thought out, with lots of details. We’ll come back for sure. Thank you
