If you're looking for the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, look no further than Piano. This Persian gem offers not only exceptional food but also an atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a true celebration. We went there for my father in law’s 90th Birthday. The service is great. In particular Mohammad (the manager) is amazing. Mohammad was very attentive and accommodated all our requests.

The food was also amazing. Starters and the naan (better than any other Persian restaurant), and the kebabs, particularly the chenjeh, all great.

Overall created a very memorable experience

Lovely place but not great value for vegetarians.

My partner and I came here for dinner late Saturday night. The restaurant looks lovely and has good atmosphere. Staff were friendly.

As for the food, we are both veggie, so can only comment from that perspective. There are a handful of dishes that state “Vegetarian option available”. It turns out this means you can have the same dish, without the meat - at the same price. (They normally also have a veggie kebab but didn’t have it on this night.)

These dishes only have the meat and 1 other ingredient - lentils, aubergine or okra, in a tomato sauce. So the veggie option is aubergine in tomato sauce or okra in tomato sauce, with rice.

I have to say, the flavour was lovely!! But £16 for 1 vegetable and rice, even in London, doesn’t seem good value, nor terribly exciting. We’re getting less than a meat eater but paying the same.

The restaurant can clearly make very tasty food. It’s a shame they haven’t put much effort into veggie/ vegan options when there are so many meat alternatives available these days.

Piano Restaurant in Chiswick is a delightful Persian eatery that brings a unique dining experience to West London. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and elegant decor, Piano offers a perfect setting for a cozy dinner with friends, family gatherings, or a romantic evening out. The restaurant’s ambiance is enhanced by live piano music, which creates a refined yet relaxed atmosphere, making the dining experience even more memorable.

The menu is a wonderful journey through Persian flavors, featuring classic dishes such as kebabs, stews, and rice-based dishes that are beautifully presented and richly flavorful. The mixed grill platter is a popular choice, allowing diners to sample a variety of perfectly grilled meats, each marinated with traditional spices that bring out a depth of flavor. The rice dishes, especially the fragrant saffron rice, pair wonderfully with the mains and are a must-try.

Vegetarians will also find appealing options, including dishes like mirza ghasemi (smoky aubergine dip) and flavorful salads. Each dish reflects authentic Persian culinary traditions, with a modern twist that elevates the dining experience. The staff at Piano are attentive and knowledgeable, happy to guide you through the menu or suggest wine pairings.

For anyone in Chiswick or nearby, Piano Restaurant offers an exceptional Persian dining experience that combines delicious food, great service, and live music. It’s a place worth visiting for a unique and flavorful night out.

Read on the reviews that they had belly dancing. Sadly we didn't get to see it. The lighting is so dim. Tough to read the menu. Food was good. I would go again and make reservations next time.
