The food is outstanding, with plenty of vegan dishes. The jackfruit shawarma was one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever eaten. It was also affordable too.

Edited after the restaurant reply:

I was wrong about the accessibility and lack of ramps for the ground floor. I didn’t see the ramps on my visit, but can believe the restaurant is welcoming to disabled diners, because they were welcoming to everyone I saw coming in.

The service was excellent, with very patient, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Located in Peckham, Persepolis is a nice mix of a Persian deli and restauran. I found the place cozy with a friendly old lady and amicable staff, offering both hospitality and tradition.

The decor is very simple but warm. The deli is full of Persian goods and the rooftop is informal but pleasant to the eye.

The restaurant is vegetarian friendly. The portions are generous for a fixed price of £25 per person. The old lady was generous enough as to let us bring our own drink, which we appreciated. My favorite dish was the roasted butternut squash filled with a rich mix of lentils, chickpeas and nuts. Also a must try is the grilled halloumi served with freshly baked flatbread, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds.

At £25 per person, Persepolis delivers a well priced feast for your senses. With a £15.80 service charge added, the bill was £173.80 for six people, which is reasonable given the quality, portion sizes, and unique culinary experience.

Hats down for Persepolis, not just a restaurant, but a beautiful experience full of vegetarian flavors.

A true gem ❤️ The menu is interesting and delicious. The last time I had visited, the rooftop terrace was still being built. Even in the winter, it's such a pretty and relaxing addition. If you're vegan, there's plenty for you to choose and after (or before eating) the shop is great for picking up ingredients to take home.

Really great food. Lots of vegan options. Recommend the set menu, called the "feat". Six courses, all vegan, including deep fried pitta and harissa, which was the best dish. Especially good for groups with vegans. BYOB, no corkage fee.

The food is amazing here especially for vegetarian and vegan dishes. I particularly loved the meze platter with ghormeh sabzi hummus and also the honey and sesame halloumi was unbelievable. I really recommend getting the feast which was 6 courses and a drink for £30 each! The owners of the restaurant/shop are also lovely. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.
